The room was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was simple but good. You get what you pay for, generally. Still, I got a strange feeling from the staff as soon as I arrived. I’m not fluent, but I can speak and understand Japanese well enough to feel they treated me differently from Japanese guests.

I was here for work to visit a local school. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and local shops were nearby. Reception spoke a little English. Although there are non-smoking rooms, smoking happens in the lobby and the corridors often smell of smoke, since it’s a smoking hotel. It was a comfortable stay overall.

The hotel is next to a temple and about a five-minute walk from owari-seto station. It’s a little old but clean. Breakfast is available, and they offer a drink each day. The bathroom has been renovated, and rooms have yukata, air conditioning, a kettle, and a mini fridge. Toiletries are available at the front desk. The service is good overall.

Comfortable stay and good service. There’s also self-service laundry, and the charge is affordable.
