The meals were delicious and beautifully presented, and my usually picky 15-year-old dog ate with real enthusiasm, which made me happy. While chatting, I mentioned our wedding anniversary was the following week, and they surprised us with a message on dessert. I was really touched. The souvenir shop had a range of things, and the furikake from breakfast was so good I wanted to buy some along with sweets, but forgot, which I still regret, lol. Guess that means I should go back! This was my first time at this location in the Ise-Shima chain, though I've stayed at other hotels in the chain several times, and I was looking forward to it. It's only three years old and was very clean, completely odor-free, and comfortable. It also seems to be maintained with a lot of care.

My mother has diabetes, and after our family lunch she was amazed that her blood sugar stayed stable instead of rising, even after the full course. She felt the meal was really well balanced. She was also very pleased with how it tasted and looked.

The staff were really friendly again, and I left feeling the visit was worth more than the price. On my earlier day-use visit to the restaurant, they were welcoming and the interior had a lovely resort feel. This time I came for a BBQ in the indoor run. The food quantity seemed a little small for 5,000 yen, but with the ocean view and two hours in the indoor run included, the price felt reasonable. There's a pool and grooming room on the terrace too, which really feels like being pampered. Even after the two-hour dinner, I could keep using the indoor run and spend a relaxing time there.

Ushimado's seaside view is beautiful and so relaxing, and we had a wonderful trip with our dog. This is the best place we've ever stayed with a dog. The room, surroundings, food, hospitality, and care for dogs were all impeccable. We'll definitely return.
