What a happy surprise! We were thrilled to find this B&B. The Uni set dinner was super delicious, though the room itself was pretty standard and had a shared washroom.

It’s an older Japanese-style inn, but it’s been kept up well. I liked it, with the lack of a private bathroom as the only downside.

My first stay at a small inn was a quiet, restful experience, and I left feeling refreshed. The food, hospitality, and setting all left me very satisfied, and I’d gladly return. Dinner and breakfast were full of amazing seafood. I was impressed by every dish, and even the children’s plate was especially good, with a hamburger steak and gratin that adults would enjoy too. The sea urchin main course felt like great value for the room price, especially since it’s such a luxury ingredient and hard to find these days. The bathroom is small, but I just went at a different time from the other guests and had a peaceful bath. The water was a bit hot, but I could adjust it myself.

The meals are great, breakfast included, with lots of fresh seafood straight from the catch. Squid, sea urchin, and abalone are especially good when they’re in season. It’s been quite a while since I last went, and I’ve heard the management has changed. I’d still like to visit again.
