The seafood was so fresh and plentiful, and really good. The hotel itself is cozy, clean and pretty, with an onsen too. Everyone was kind and very helpful, which made for an amazing stay.

I’ve stayed here for nearly ten nights over the past few years. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and it’s a nice hotel.
The one-star Michelin award is well deserved. That was the best dinner and breakfast I’ve ever had.
The food was excellent, and I loved the ambience and the service.
We came for the sea urchin, and there was plenty of it. Dinner included sea urchin dishes, and at breakfast we could choose how much sea urchin and salmon roe to have. They even said we could make it all sea urchin. Our room had Ryukyu tatami mats that felt lovely under bare feet, plus a sofa that made the tatami room extra comfortable. The large shared bath was nice, though the showers can fill up when just three or four people are using them, so you may need to come back later. There are shared spaces on both floors, and we could take phone calls there while our friends were chatting. From tourist spots around the Shakotan Peninsula, including the Nikka Distillery in Yoichi, it was easy to find.
