I liked that the rooms were non-smoking. I'd give it five stars if there were a smoking area on every floor. 😓

Is this place mainly used by construction workers? It’s a bit of a walk from the station. The Nayoro Line bus gets you somewhat closer if you get off at Shibetsu Odori 6-chome.

There’s a roadside station and lots of convenience stores close enough to walk to, so getting supplies wasn’t a problem. The room’s air conditioning, though, was awful. It’s that old shared system where turning the setting lower barely cools anything. It was already unbearable in early July, and even with the cooling at maximum I was soaked with sweat. I can only imagine how bad it gets in summer. Also, the old and new buildings face each other in places. When I opened my curtains, a completely naked man was right there.

Everything else was fine, but the night shift guy left me in a bad mood. When I came back late, he didn’t just stay quiet, he looked annoyed and checked his watch. I’m paying to stay here, and he’s being paid to do the job.
