Shima Mediterranean Village

We stayed on December 24 and 25, 2025, with four adults and our dog, and Shima Mediterranean Village gave us a memorable family visit. We had planned ahead with the staff for my wife’s birthday, and they went beyond what we expected. I can’t say enough about how welcome and comfortable we felt, or how good the service was. Nakai san greeted us first, smiling despite spending the day in the cold and rain, and showed us where to park. He even guessed my name before I introduced myself, then shared useful information about the area. At the end, he was there again, taking photos of us at different spots around the village-hotel and seeing us off so kindly and professionally. The woman at reception explained everything clearly, and the staff at the afternoon café, evening restaurant, and breakfast buffet were all attentive, friendly, and professional. Our dog-friendly room was spacious and clean, with two TVs, a Western-style bathtub, a toilet, four beds, a mini fridge, assorted furniture, and a kitchen on the first floor. We had a view of the bay and felt very comfortable. The village itself was well maintained, with an exotic Spanish-Italian-Greek mix. It was rainy and overcast the whole time, but we still enjoyed it a lot. We especially liked the public bath at night and again the next morning. Looking out over the sea coast from the hot water while it drizzled felt like a real privilege. On behalf of all of us, thank you to every staff member for such a special stay.
