Umibe Iseshima

Umibe is tucked away in a secluded spot with fantastic ocean views, just right for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed using the outdoor BBQ area for dinner, and the welcoming host shared useful tips about the area. Highly recommend it.

Our group of five adults had plenty of room to spread out, especially in the huge living room upstairs. We shared the cooking in the large kitchen, then had a barbecue in the spacious garden as we listened to the waves. The sunrise the next morning was beautiful, too. It felt like a real treat. The bedroom on the first floor was my favorite. It had its own door to a toilet, which was a relief at night since I’d worried about disturbing everyone on the way to a shared one. The kitchen was well stocked with scissors, knives, bowls, plates, and cutlery. Even the microwave and toaster were BALMUDA. Bring things you use up, like plastic wrap, foil, and kitchen paper, and you’ll be all set. The nearest supermarket (?) was also well stocked, and there was a home improvement store and a 100-yen shop in the same place.

We’ve come here with the family many times. The rooms are spacious, clean, stylish, and in a great location. The kids are always thrilled when we arrive, and it’s easy to relax here while still feeling at home. The kitchen and amenities have everything we need, and having a BBQ together is fun for adults and kids alike. It’s a comfortable, thoughtfully put together place, and one we hope to keep coming back to. (*^^*)

It felt like a resort abroad when we had a BBQ and the kids played on the terrace and around the wood-burning stove. Great for a few friends or their families. I’d love to come back!
