The host was welcoming and patient, even though we had to communicate through Google Translate. I loved this traditional Japanese guesthouse, it felt like home. The main attractions aren’t far, and having two bicycles made it easier to get around town.

The room was nice, and the train station is about a 5-10 minute walk away. There’s not much right nearby, though. Restaurants, convenience stores, and the supermarket are all about a 10 minute walk. Aside from that, everything was good.

A traditional Japanese house, really comfortable, and it even has a kotatsu. The bathroom and toilet were clean. It’s well located and reasonably priced. Just be aware there’s no staff around at night.

Everything was super clean and the place had what I needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the host was amazing. It’s a wonderful traditional place to stay. I’d highly recommend it to travelers looking for somewhere in this area 🙌🏻

The small kitchen and comfortable, home-like feel made this B&B a nice place to stay. The owner was very kind and gave me a thorough introduction. There’s only one bathroom, but it didn’t affect my stay. It’s convenient to the station, with a bus stop around the corner for getting on and off along the Kumano Kodo, and free bicycles are available too.
