The shared kitchen is well equipped, so it was handy to make our own meals. The onsen was another highlight, a relaxing natural hot spring after a day out. Guest Living MU Nanki Shirahama is also an easy walk from Shirarahama Beach, and our spacious, clean room had a nice ocean view. Just know that towels and pajamas cost extra to rent, and guests are expected to set up their own futons and take out their trash. That self-service arrangement may not be for everyone. Still, it felt like good value for families or groups wanting a laid-back stay near the beach, and I'd consider coming back to Shirahama.

The facilities are modern, clean, and really affordable, with amazing views. My first onsen felt super luxurious, and tattoos are welcome. The beach is tattoo friendly too. Thank you!

For the price, this is a high-quality stay in a great location. The rooms are large and well equipped, the oceanfront scenery is amazing, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

The place was very clean and tidy, and there are different room options, from condos to hostel-style shared rooms with Japanese futons and paper doors. I happened to be there while Asian teams were competing in beach flying discus, which gave the place a much livelier feel. There are only two showers for the whole place, but the onsen helps with that. Breakfast is included and much more palatable than at many places I've stayed, and there's free-flow coffee too. Thanks for looking out for me, Koni-san and Shin-san, and the others whose names I didn't catch.

It feels like a home away from home, with complete amenities, a lovely ocean view, and a welcoming atmosphere for foreigners. It's a good place for families and friends, and you can buy groceries nearby and cook at the hotel. The place is clean, close to the bus station, and near the beach. I just wish there were a shower in the room, so guests wouldn't have to wait for the shared one.
