Our two-bedroom apartment had a 180-degree sea view, and we had a wonderful time there. We also had breakfast and hot pot dinner included. The flat was spacious.

The ocean view from our room was lovely, but the air conditioning leaked, so it could only be set to 26°C. With it around 30°C outside, that wasn’t enough to sleep comfortably, and my family was kept awake by the heat and the sound of dripping water. The service was poor too. Breakfast was included in our booking, but the four of us didn’t get any on our final morning. Since we had to leave early that day, we asked the canteen staff the day before if we could take breakfast away. They sent us to the front desk, where we were told it could be arranged. But when we went to collect it the next morning, we were told they couldn’t do it. We’d planned to eat it while traveling, so we ended up without breakfast. This location seems suited to people who drive. I checked the map before booking, but the road shown there is actually for cars, and walking on it is dangerous for pedestrians.

The amenities were the best I’ve had at any hotel, including a washing machine, rice cooker, and even anti-aging cream. When we arrived, there was no concierge around, and it took a while for someone to come after we rang the bell. That was my only complaint. Everything else was perfect.

I spent 12 days in Japan, and this was the most comfortable place I stayed. It’s set up like a service apartment, with a clean, well-equipped kitchen, a washer-dryer, comfortable beds, a jet bathtub, and a gorgeous balcony view. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.
