There was a persistent stinky feet smell in the room. We spent a long time trying to track it down and thought it might be coming from the air conditioner. We only noticed after dinner, unfortunately, and no staff were available to clean it. There were no rooms to move to either, so we had to rely on an air freshener. Is the room really being cleaned properly?

The pool was already closed for the off-season from September 1, which was a shame. Still, it’s a lovely hotel right on the beach, with onsens and plenty of space in the Japanese-style rooms.

The food at both breakfast and dinner was only okay and didn’t seem fresh, though parking was free. I liked the room layout, with two single beds in the Western-style section and a separate tatami room. Ocean-facing rooms have a great view. There’s a large indoor and outdoor spa, separated for men and women, plus a nice place to relax afterward with free drinks, sofas, tatami seating, and cosmetics books. The garden has an outdoor foot spa, and the check-in hall is spacious with lots of sofas. Kids can use the game corner for TV games, table tennis, and claw machines.

The game center and friendly staff were nice, and there’s a car park too. The hot spring was good, with a sauna, and the rest area had draft beer along with soft drinks.
