We planned on three days and wound up spending a week at hotel shirahama. It's tucked away on a quaint little back street near downtown, and the staff are so welcoming and gracious. The Indian restaurant at the hotel serves some of the best Indian food we've ever had. We'll be back.

The hosts and the Indian food are both amazing. There's an Indian guy and a Japanese guy working here, and they're so friendly and nice. The friendship between these two different cultures is wonderful. If you're visiting Shirahama, come stay at least one night. You'll love it!

Kumarsanehiram and Nakamuta are wonderful hosts who look after you. The mix of Indian and Japanese cultures is so interesting, and everyone should visit. I meant to stay one night with my girlfriend, but we ended up staying four. The onsen is pretty good too. Thanks so much, I'll be back.

Good value, with a spacious room, a comfortable bed and lovely staff. It's a great little hotel in a good spot, very close to shirarahara beach. Would recommend.
