The staff were super friendly, and having parking right out front was handy. Knowing some Japanese helps, including at the great ramen shop next door. It’s a convenient drive to the beach and a pleasant short walk to Senjojiki cliffs. My older kids are used to sleeping on tatami mats, though it might be harder with a baby or if stairs are difficult for you. It’s a great place to stay, and I highly recommend it for an adventurous family.

We could unwind on the sofa bed, which was a nice bonus since the bed itself felt a little hard. The owner welcomed us warmly, and the guesthouse was stylish, with both the inside and outside kept in lovely shape. The bath is shared, but there's a toilet, and we could use the hot springs at the hotel next door for free. The owner also gave us local watermelons, and the kids were so happy about that. Thank you!

The room was really roomy, and the semi-double bed was comfortable. There’s a bath at the property, plus you can visit the public bath at the neighboring Grampus Shirahama and enjoy the hot springs. Senjojiki is right next door.

Senjojiki is only a short walk away, and I could use the nearby hot springs for free. My Japanese-style room was clean, too. I’d stay here again if I got the chance.
