Hotel Route Inn Shin Shirakawa Eki Higashi

Getting around was easy, whether by train or bus, and the malls are about 800m away. The room had enough space for one person and the service was good. My friend asked about the cleaning service, and they were given meal service in exchange for cleaning.

There isn’t much choice in this little town. This hotel is a basic, functional place, with lots of business travelers.

I usually really like this hotel brand for its clean rooms, nice onsen and good breakfasts. They also don’t make a fuss about me being foreign or having tattoos. At this location, though, the bed was especially hard, and smoking was allowed. The cigarette smell was very strong in both the lobby and breakfast room, which made my stay really uncomfortable.

The annex doesn’t have a bath in the room, but I was happy with the large public bath on the first floor. This was the first annex. Because of corona, breakfast was concentrated in the main building, though a lot of people stayed there.
