Chano Onsen House

We were five in the family, including our six-month-old, and they had a crib, baby soap, and a little plastic bath ready for the baby. Nearly everything else was provided too, so we had no trouble using the place. The big hot spring bath has a pH above 8 and left our skin feeling smooth. The beds were made perfectly, and even in February it was warm enough to wear a T-shirt.

We had a barbecue on the balcony and really enjoyed it. It was well maintained, with part of the space protected by a windbreak so we could eat there too. It felt safe with small children around, and the hot spring made for a relaxing morning bath. A genuinely luxurious time, and I'd stay again if I get the chance. The house is in a quiet residential area with a calming feel. It's best to buy groceries at a supermarket beforehand. One night I wanted ice cream badly enough to walk 20 minutes to Family Mart with my sons.

Nine of us from two families stayed in this detached house, my first time in one, and we could relax without worrying about other people. I kept going back to the hot spring bath, which left my skin feeling incredibly smooth. We cooked with the available utensils, and the barbecue set came with charcoal, so we just needed ingredients. Air conditioning in the rooms made for a comfortable night's sleep. The unpleasant house smell was the one thing that bothered me. Apart from that, it was very comfortable.

A cozy, clean place that works really well for family trips, especially small families traveling together. The guesthouse has complete facilities, and the pots and pans were all clean and hygienic. The hot tea was soothing for aches and pains. I'd happily stay a few more days! My only concern is that the hot spring water keeps flowing, which feels a bit wasteful.
