The breakfast was good, and they also offered free salad and curry for dinner, just curry sauce and rice. The natural mineral water onsen and sauna are well worth enjoying. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is easy to reach from the train station. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, too. I left a few things behind and was able to get them back without trouble, though the hotel didn’t call or email to tell me they’d found them. Other handy features include a coin laundry with good machines, extra pillows, ironing facilities, and a business center where printing costs extra and you can use a laptop for free. I’d stay here again.

Everything else was absolutely perfect, and I’d highly recommend the hotel. The one bummer was that the TV didn’t have YouTube or Netflix.

The room was a decent size and very clean, and I loved the onsen and breakfast buffet. It’s in a great location. Highly recommend.

The staff seemed friendly enough, and the attendant at the parking building had some useful tips for getting around the city. Thanks, buddy! This is a decent business hotel with a lot of rooms. Parking is free, but in a separate building across the road. My room was a comfortable size with nice amenities. There’s a free coffee machine in the ground-floor foyer, and vending machines and a manga room on different floors. They give you two sets of clothes: the purple and grey ones, which look a bit cult-like, are for going between the second floor and the bath and can be worn to meals if you want. The white set is only for wearing in your room. The communal bath uses hot spring water and was relaxing. The main bath is larger and looks fine, though quite utilitarian. The small “outdoor” bath is more of an atrium with an open roof. The in-room TV shows how busy the baths and dining room are, which is really convenient. They offer curry and rice for free at dinner, but when it’s gone, that’s it. It may not be available, so there are convenience stores across the road. I’d suggest walking about 10 minutes to the Shizuoka Station area for restaurants. There are also several izakaya along the way with different atmospheres that could be worth a look. Breakfast is a buffet and was actually pretty good. I thought the Japanese breakfast choices were a bit limited, but there were plenty of other things, including fish, chicken, salad, yogurt, and bread. I left feeling like it was a good start to the day.
