Hotel Select Inn Numadu

The price was still low compared with nearby hotels, and there's a 7 eleven and a Lawson close by. You'll need to take a bus to reach Numazu station. We had paid for the room for three people, but when we arrived, staff said we'd only paid for one person, even though there were three beds in the room. We had to pay another 2,000 yen per person. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes. It was a smoking room, so we couldn't really complain about that. If you're okay with the smell, the hotel is quite okay.

The hotel isn't very accessible without a car, but they can call a taxi and have one ready in about 10 minutes. The staff were helpful and nice to English speakers. I stayed with a friend in a single room that had a queen size bed and a twin bunk bed. It was moderately sized and had what we needed: a bathroom, shower, sink, towels, yukatas, and toothbrushes. I also used the coin laundry. The machines worked decently for a small load, though I needed two runs in the dryer. It wasn't too much trouble. A satisfying stay at Select Inn Numazu.

There are plenty of convenience stores close by, so it’s easy to pick up food and eat in your room if you don’t feel like having the hotel’s food. The hotel itself is decent, with good facilities, and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
