For the price, the place is clean and reasonable. The free drinks and food at happy hour are a nice perk, and there’s an on-site onsen, though we didn’t use it. The bathroom is tiny and there was only one pillow on the bed. Breakfast was crowded, and there weren’t many signs in English. There were more kids around than I liked, so it seems ideal if you’re traveling with children. They do look after them.

The hotel parking area is quite small and didn’t have room for our car. The staff suggested Times across the street, where we didn’t need to pay at the lot. We just brought the parking ticket to the hotel for a discount and paid 800 yen for the whole night. The location is great, close to the station, and the price was low. A simple breakfast, one free drink, and a free curry at dinner were included. The drink could be beer, a self-mixed cocktail, sake, or a soft drink. There’s a free massage chair on the 13th floor and a hot bath on the first. My room smelled bad from the toilet, but my family’s rooms were fine. Staff moved me to another room, which had no problem. They were very kind and tried to explain things using Google Translate since they couldn’t speak English.

We paid around 6,000 yen for a tiny single room, which felt like a great deal. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Shizuoka Station, and discounted parking is available. There are lots of izakayas around 15-20 minutes away on foot. The welcome drink selection included juice, alcohol, coffee, and more. There’s also a buffet-style amenities corner downstairs with far more than you’ll need, so pick up anything extra there. The room had shampoo, soap, and towels, as well as good air conditioning, a big TV, and a cozy bed. The hotel sits right beside the Shinkansen and rail tracks, but they probably stop running after midnight until morning. Breakfast was a buffet with sooo many items, and the staff were very friendly and kind. Good service at a fairly reasonable price.

The staff were friendly and VERY helpful. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the service was wonderful. We were also offered a range of welcome drinks and snacks, including ice cream. 🙂👍🏽☺️👍🏽
