As a woman traveling alone, I was happy with my stay. The walk over was easy even with my big luggage, and the location was convenient. The room was compact, like Japanese accommodations often are, but it didn't feel cramped and had what I needed, including the free lobby amenities. Breakfast was bread, and the coffee was better than I'd expected. After two days it would probably get repetitive, though all the walking I did meant the carb-heavy meal gave me energy for the day.

The station is nearby, so the location is very good. There was just one elevator, and it got crowded at times. Breakfast was dull and unhealthy, with only sweet Japanese-style breads, even though they tried to call them French bread. I didn't feel good after eating it.

The lobby is tiny, though the room has enough space for a single bed. Breakfast is basic, but there are plenty of bread choices and they're good enough.

In warm weather, we couldn't get the air conditioning below 28 degrees, which was too warm for us. The room also had a faint damp smell, but opening the window a little helped, as did the room spray. The hotel itself is old and basic, though clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The location is excellent, and breakfast is good value with lots of baked goods. Good value overall.

I only stayed one night so I could get an early start to see Mt. Fuji :) The room was clean and comfortable, the location was great, and both booking and check-in went smoothly. It all worked fine for me, though the price was a little high. Golden Week was probably to blame, but I might look for somewhere cheaper next time.
