The private bath was especially handy with little kids. It's in a separate building, booked in 45-minute family slots, and they let you know your time at check-in. Ours was at 7:45 PM, just after dinner, which worked well. A later slot starting at 8:45 PM could be harder, though I’m only guessing that bath times might be assigned based on the children’s ages listed at booking. We stayed one night as a family of four before visiting Fuji Safari Park. The whole building has carpet, which was comfortable for our crawling newborn, and we didn’t have to put shoes on just to step out of the room. Meals are served in the dining hall at set times, 8:00 AM for breakfast and 6:00 PM for dinner. The Western food was thoughtfully made and really tasty. There’s also a kids’ corner in the dining hall’s semi-basement. Our five-year-old daughter played there on her own after finishing her meal. A great fit for families with young children.

The staff were polite and kind, and we had a really pleasant stay. The building is stylish, with a convenience store about a 10-minute drive away and Fuji Safari Park around five minutes away. The kids loved the fairly roomy playroom, which felt like a secret hideout. We also enjoyed the annex’s large family bath, which was spacious and comfortable, though there was a bath in our room too. Dinner was delicious, especially the meat, so tender you could eat it without teeth. The kids’ meals were great as well. Even my usual fussy eaters finished theirs in no time. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

With just six rooms, the service felt attentive, and our kids liked the maisonette layout. Once they went to bed upstairs, we could still relax in the living room on the first floor. I’d stay again if I get the chance. The meals were all delicious, and it felt like a special occasion. The children got their food, dessert included, right away, while the adult course took about an hour, so be ready for them to wait. The kids’ room has mostly wooden toys and seems aimed at younger children. Amenities are sparse, and the Wi-Fi was weak at times, so keep expectations modest. There’s no convenience store nearby, so shop before you arrive.
