Being close to both the station and port was handy. The staff were helpful, the rooms clean, and the rules were laid out systematically. I'd definitely stay again.

There was a shared kitchen and washing machine. Since it was a weekday, two other Chinese guests were there besides me. One was the typical Chinese guy who took the shared water back to his room, and the other was a friendly girl from Shanghai. It cost about 5,000 yen a night, which felt expensive for a dorm. I asked the hostel where to find an inexpensive, tasty meal nearby besides udon, and they said the shopping district. That struck me as an original answer. Maybe they don't know Takamatsu very well.

I spent one night in a dorm and loved the room's secret-base-in-a-closet feel. There was even a workspace under the bed. The interior was stylish and clean, and I found the fourth-floor shower room comfortable and nice to use after hours. I'd stay again when I'm in Kagawa.

I chose the female-only dorm even though it was a little more expensive than other places. It fits up to three people, and booking a three-person pod lets you use it privately. The first floor is a sitting area and the second is for sleeping. Food has to be eaten in the shared space on the second floor. The airport limousine stop closest by is Hyōgomachi Station. Check-in uses a Google Form, which is available in Korean, and room instructions come by video in English and Japanese. There's a cat cafe on the first floor, ¥2,200 per person per hour. Showers are in the rooms, with shared bathrooms, and there's also a shared shower on the fourth floor. A hairdryer is provided, and you can rent a curling iron at the counter. You have to switch on the heating yourself. I didn't realize that on the first day, so I slept under my blanket. You get one body towel and one face towel per day. The shower room has shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. You can put your name on food in the refrigerator and store it there. Lawson and Family Mart are nearby, and the supermarket is a seven-minute walk. There's a Fugetsu udon restaurant right in front, and luggage storage is available.
