Breakfast was the highlight for me. We added it at the last minute, and although it’s a bit pricey, I thought it was worth it. The room where it’s served feels more upscale than the rest of the hotel, and the staff there were attentive and friendly. I especially liked the juice selection, which you don’t often see at hotels in Japan. The hotel itself was clean, the staff were helpful, and our room was fine. The location worked well too, since we could easily walk to both the ferry port and the train station. I’d stay again just for breakfast.

The staff did their best, but the breakfast arrangements were confusing and frustrated some of the other passengers. Since we were in a tour group, we were separated, given a set breakfast, and allowed to use the buffet too. Our room was very warm on the first day of our two-day stay. The air conditioning worked then, but stopped working the next day, so we had to leave the windows open to stay cool.

We slept well for all three nights, and the service was pleasant with all the amenities we needed. The room was really spacious, including a huge bathroom. The soundproofing wasn’t good, though, and we often heard the neighbours moving things. The location was great for exploring the city and getting to the ferries.

The room was clean but small and a bit dated, though it was good value for the money. The hotel is well maintained and well located near the main shopping arcade and restaurants. Breakfast was hearty, and there are free, secure luggage racks in the lobby.

It was very clean, although our non-smoking room clearly smelled as if someone had smoked in it. The airport bus, or “limousine,” stops just 10 steps from the front door, and other transport links and several shopping streets are nearby. I thought the buffet breakfast was good value, but I wouldn’t have paid extra for it if it hadn’t already been included. I really admired the omelette chef and the staff who welcomed us to breakfast.
