The front desk staff stood out for being friendly, approachable, and accommodating whenever we had a question or needed help. The hotel is conveniently placed about a six-minute walk from the station, near the town centre, and felt new and well maintained. Our room was well presented, with very good amenities, a firm and extremely comfortable bed, and fantastic shower pressure. The clean, easy-to-access onsen-style spa has separate areas for men and women. The one small letdown was the coffee. It could have been better, and when we asked for more it wasn't replenished, which felt inconsistent with the hotel's otherwise premium feel. Still, it was a very comfortable stay and I'd happily return.

We didn't care for the breakfast, though I think that's a common thing in Japan. The Western-style options just aren't what we'd usually eat. Aside from that, this has been our favorite hotel so far: great location, really friendly staff, lovely rooms, powerful showers, and a huge bed, which is unusual in Japan. Thanks for a great stay!

There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and Starbucks is close too. The hotel has spacious, clean rooms and staff who communicate very well. Its atmosphere is fantastic, and the location is excellent, right in the city center next to Tateyama Station. If you're visiting Tateyama and want a good hotel, I'd highly recommend it.

The private onsen can be booked at the front desk for 45 minutes for 2000 yen. I'd suggest reserving as soon as you check in, since popular evening times fill up fast. We chose the hotel mainly for its location, just a 4-5 minute walk from the station. The rooms were clean, modern, and surprisingly cozy, and the staff were friendly and spoke good English. There's a calm feel throughout, and the quality made it good value.
