The little hut and the hotel design are cute, but the guest service didn't feel courteous enough. There was no water supply inside the onsen area, and instead of shampoo and body wash they provided a tablet labelled H3O for washing hair and body. We booked breakfast, but the portions were small, especially the half cup of tea and half cup of coffee. Other hotels we've stayed at in the area generously provide guests with free coffee and tea, but this hotel doesn't. The room cleaning was the worst part. They didn't replace the in-room coffee or tea, and even took away the cups. When I asked a staff member how the cleaners could make those mistakes, she surprised me by saying that they usually don't clean rooms for guests staying consecutive nights.

The food was amazing, and the baths were lovely. It's a beautiful, peaceful place, and the staff across management, cooking, and service were all extremely friendly and helpful. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

The place was restful and tranquil, and everything was beautifully maintained. From the accommodation and location to the baths and food, I was completely overwhelmed. Then there was the staff, who made everything perfect. I actually think this deserves six stars. Kur park is outstanding, and I highly recommend it. I'll be back next time I'm in the region. Thank you all, especially Minni, you beautiful lady ❤️💐. Part of my heart is still there. My kindest regards, Michel Lehmann.

Shigeru Ban, the Pritzker Prize-winning architect, designed this very unique, cozy experience. The room has a special design full of clever details, and the views change between day and night. Highly recommended.
