This was my third visit, for six nights, and I'll definitely come back. The hotel may look old from outside, but they keep it in nice shape. My room was comfortable, and the place was mostly quiet, with what seemed like mostly business travelers staying there. Thanks for a nice stay. It's very good for bicycle and motorcycle travelers. You can lock your bike outside under an overhang, or bring it inside the unused restaurant. There's lots of room, even for a big group. The hot water is extremely hot, the air conditioning gets crazy cold, and the WiFi is good. The staff are lovely and really helpful, even though they don't speak much English. They've let me check in early twice. When I added a night, they switched me to another room and got it cleaned right away, so I didn't have to wait in the lobby. Online and walk-in prices are almost the same, though booking online gets you a slightly better rate.

The room rate was 7500 yen in July 2017, and if I remember right, that included breakfast. A little pricey, but what can you do. Hotel Suehiro is a decent, if not especially impressive, wedding hotel that seems to share business with its rival, Miura Kaen, a few blocks away. The place is a bit dated but reasonably well maintained, and I had no other real complaints. The breakfast buffet was high quality, but after the initial spread, it was very poorly replenished. The eggs and bacon weren't refilled at all while I was in the dining room. Very poor form, Sueniro, minus one star for that.
