The garden gave the kids room to play while we could keep an eye on them, and the whole place felt warm even in February. Our group of three adults and seven children stayed during the last week of the month. The old house has been renovated with so much style, and the fluffy bedding and everything provided made it easy to settle in. A big fireplace warmed the living room, with air conditioning, kerosene heaters, and hot water bottles in the bedrooms too. We found it hard to leave. It’s the sort of inn we’d love to come back to every year, and I’d recommend it to families or groups wanting a special, relaxing stay.
The room was comfortable and clean, and everything we needed was there. I especially liked having the place to ourselves and being able to relax without worrying about other people. Watching the fire in the wood-burning fireplace made the stay feel pleasantly different from everyday life. A good choice for families, groups, or anyone after a quiet break.
The owners were so kind that we even went together to a nearby cafe for breakfast, which made for a lovely time. My friend and I stayed here, and despite the rain they put up a tarp so we could still enjoy a BBQ and bonfire comfortably. The garden and interior were both thoughtfully decorated, and we had space to unwind. It was a refreshing way to experience the countryside. I’d like to return with my family. Thanks so much.
We come back to this guesthouse every summer. The old house has plenty of character, but the rooms and bathrooms are kept spotless and comfortable. They lend guests a fridge, microwave, and cooking gear, which made it easy even with a small baby. The owners, a married couple with their baby, are wonderful. There’s always plenty for kids to do, whatever the weather. They can look for killifish and frogs in the garden or crayfish in the nearby stream, play by the beautiful river, or go to the indoor play space in a renovated closed school. We also love having a barbecue in the garden and eating delicious clay-pot rice. At night, the sky is full of stars. It’s a place that makes you want to return again and again.
The kids had a great time spotting crayfish in the nearby drains, fireflies by the river, and all kinds of insects in the grass and garden. It’s a quiet spot surrounded by nature. The building is an old Japanese house, renovated with care and kept in great shape. My wife is picky about cleanliness, and she called it “clean and stylish.” We had a really nice, refreshing stay.
