Miru Amami

It was peaceful both day and night, with a sea view and a real sense of privacy while surrounded by nature. The design was incredibly good. It's one of the most stunning hotels I've stayed in, and the service was thoughtful and caring, especially from the female staff member who helped solve a problem for me.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Miru Amami, and the staff made it feel extra special. The room felt like our own private hideaway, where we could hear the sea and nature. The people were warm and professional, and with the place and food, the whole stay made for a perfect chance to relax. I'd highly recommend it for a romantic getaway or time with your partner and family.

The restaurant was amazing, but the hotel itself felt like a three-star place. The hillside is steep and there are loads of stairs. The upgraded pool suites are very small inside, while the hillside villas have old flooring and broken blinds.

Miru is Amami's hidden gem. The cabins and restaurant have exceptional architecture, inside and out, and the service is very forthcoming. It's right beside a clean, calm sandy beach with turquoise water, and the location is top notch. The restaurant is the best on the island, with a very high-end international standard.
