For a budget stay in Tokai, this is a strong choice. The station is only about a three-minute walk away, with little restaurants and izakayas all around. The rooms feel roomier than at some other business hotels like APA, and the beds are larger too. You also get the useful basics, including coin laundry and drying machines and breakfast on site.
Good value and easy to get around from here. There are two FamilyMart stores nearby, one closes at 11 PM and the other stays open all night.
If you're visiting Japan steel, this is probably the best option near Otagawa Station.

There's a sauna, and the hotel serves breakfast every day. The rooms were cleaned and replenished daily, and staff were friendly whenever I needed help. It's right by the station, with groceries across the road. Food stalls often set up in the courtyard next door on weekends. I'd definitely recommend AB hotels if you need a place to stay around here. Laundry machines and dryers are available too.
