The neighborhood was good, with Family mart and 7 eleven close by, and Tokai stn is about a 1.5 km walk. The hotel offers free use of a washing machine and a coin-operated drier. Prepaid BF is available for 900¥. Nice hotel with good hospitality, and good value for money. Highly recommended.

There’s a Chinese restaurant and a sushi place within a two-minute walk. The room felt spacious compared with what I’m used to in Japan, with a large bed and a sofa. Breakfast was great.

The front desk staff made a great impression. They were polite and kind, and answered my questions with a smile. I was only there overnight because of scheduling conflicts, so I didn’t get to try breakfast. I heard it’s popular and uses fresh vegetables from Ibaraki Prefecture, and I’d like to come back with a breakfast plan to try the local ingredients. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I’d worried a little when I arrived because the building exterior looked old, but it was easy to forget once I saw how livable the place was. I was glad I stayed instead of judging by the outside. I was here on a business trip, and would stay again.

We booked online the day we arrived after searching around. We stayed two people on Friday night, February 27, 2026, in a second-floor room, and parked in the lot next to the hotel. Check-in was at reception.
