The breakfast was generous and tasty, and there were lots of amenities, especially bath salts. The facilities themselves are generally old. I visited in the cold season, but the room was warm and felt clean, with no musty smell. You really need a car to get there easily. The parking entrance is quite steep, and I scraped the underside of my bumper a little when driving out. There's nothing that can really be done about that.

I was a bit uneasy about staying alone as a woman, but the friendly front desk staff reassured me, so I felt comfortable. There was a drink bar just inside the entrance, which was handy for a drink after the walk from the nearest station. It's a little far away, though the distance makes for decent exercise. I liked having a range of free bath salts and amenities, and tried different salts in the evening and again in the morning. I'd stay here again if I get the chance.

The room was clean, and the tub filled quickly because the water flow was strong. Parking is plentiful, including spaces at the bottom of a short but steep slope. Even a normal-height car should be fine, but a low car could scrape underneath. There is no karaoke in any room. As of September 16, 2025, the official website listed it, but staff said it wasn't available in all rooms, and there were signs that it had been there before. The value is much better than at other hotels, so I'd come back.
