The spa was a highlight, with a pool, outdoor space, hammam, and a solid range of massage treatments. I also liked the complimentary house car, an electric Audi Q6, which suits the hotel’s eco focus. The place has a modern, youthful feel, and the lounge often has a DJ in the evenings. Staff were young, friendly, and attentive. I stayed in a Panoramic Studio Suite on an upper floor, with huge windows and a seating spot by the glass that was perfect for taking in the city. The views from the higher floors, 40+, especially toward Tokyo Tower, are fantastic. My only minor gripe in the room was road noise. The hotel is in a quieter, more local neighborhood, which I personally enjoyed. The design is stylish, with a strong wellness and sustainability focus throughout. The restaurant uses fresh local ingredients, though the menu is a bit limited. Breakfast was decent, but not quite up to the standard of the rest of the stay. Still, I had a very enjoyable visit to this newly opened 5-star hotel and would recommend it and return.

The view and location were excellent, and the bed was comfortable. I tried a one bedroom suite on a recent trip, but honestly the restroom felt small for a suite. There was no envelope or anything else in the room besides the minibar. The minibar was fully charged, and I got a message asking if I’d taken a chocolate bar, though I hadn’t touched it. Breakfast was just okay, with a limited buffet and no complimentary fresh juice. For a newly opened hotel, it was generally fine, but the service isn’t at a 5-star level yet.

Breakfast was the weakest part for us. We had a rate that included the buffet, but the selection was so limited that it felt like guests were pushed toward ordering à la carte. That menu was modest too and didn’t suit our tastes, so after the first morning we skipped breakfast for the rest of the stay. The location also felt isolated compared with competitors, and we relied on taxis for nearly every trip since there wasn’t much within easy walking distance. The building itself is beautiful, with original architecture and greenery throughout that gives it a refreshing, sustainable luxury feel. Our room design and the sense of space were highlights, along with the expansive Tokyo skyline views from floors 38 to 44. Service was impeccable everywhere, from reception and concierge to the door team and housekeeping. It’s a lovely hotel with great staff, but the breakfast and taxi-dependent location are worth bearing in mind.

The atmosphere was cosy, and the room and service were lovely. I especially liked the location: it felt central without being crowded or overly touristy. Great value compared with other 5-star hotels in Tokyo.
