The neighborhood was lovely, and I enjoyed getting a feel for local life, from the bathroom setup to the homey surroundings. I was surprised to wake up feeling more rested than I usually do in a hotel. The place was clean and looked just like the pictures online, so I wouldn't worry about the review saying otherwise. I've stayed in other places too, so I have something to compare it with.

The neighborhood was super quiet, just how I like it. The rooms were clean, and the service was good.

It’s on the 4th floor, and getting heavy suitcases up 6 flights of stairs is a full workout. Still, I'd come again. It's a quiet, joyful family neighborhood, and you get a little bit of everything Japan has to offer. This is a simple, affordable 2 bedroom with everything you need. There’s a 7-11 and a Family store nearby for anything you might need, plus some amazing places to eat. The train station is very close, too.

We had no bed and ended up sleeping on the floor. The sofa was covered in awful stains, and the room was filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The host ignored our complaints and wouldn't offer another room or cancel the booking. The place looked nothing like the photos. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I can't believe it's allowed to operate. It felt like a total scam. I strongly advise against booking it. I'd give zero stars if I could.
