The showers are clean and modern, though they're only on the top floor. There's a shared area with a microwave, small oven, kettle, and cutlery, so you can make food there. The staff are friendly and ready to help, and they give out free earplugs at reception. I heard the nearby trains, but with the plugs it never bothered me. It's a good choice for a central stay without spending too much. There's not much luggage space, so I'd keep what you need in a smaller bag by your bed instead of unpacking your suitcase each morning.
The rooms were good, and I was happy with my stay overall. It's a comfortable, clean, safe-feeling place for a low price, away from the city's busiest areas. Akihabara is very close and good for technology, and the station is nearby. Shibuya and Shinjuku take about 30-40 minutes by train, though, and toward the end all the walking and train trips felt tedious, so keep that in mind when booking. There were a lot of nighttime disturbances, with snoring, lights switching on and off, and people talking. I know that's not the hostel's fault, but they could explain the rules and hostel etiquette better, or have smaller rooms.
The service stood out. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English well. Guests can use the communal space, and there are coin laundry facilities. For the price, the room is great value, with a comfortable bed and tatami plus secure storage for valuables. There's also luggage storage on each floor, so a large suitcase isn't an issue. The hostel is about a 5-7 minute walk from Asakusabashi Station, and compared with other options, I found it especially worthwhile.
If you're introverted, you can stay here without having to talk to anyone. For meeting people, there are chances to make friends too, with board games and shared meals in the common area. I felt safe and comfortable on the very clean women's floor, and the staff were nice and helpful. The location is good as well. From subway exit A3, cross to the other side of the bridge and go straight along the train bridge.
The location is really handy, in a nice neighborhood with lots of lovely places nearby. Staff were amazingly helpful, there are plenty of showers, and the hostel is kept clean. For the price it's incredible, though the rooms are crowded, so expect some noise and the smell of feet.
