You’ll need to hang your clothes since there’s no closet or drawers. The rooms are comfortable and have a fridge, toilet, and shower, though the hotel has an older style and uses one wooden room key holder per room. It’s very conveniently located near the metro, with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Reception staff speak limited English, but they do their best with Google translate.

The food was delicious and the service was great. I went for dinner with colleagues from my office, which had booked a hall and arranged a set menu with beer, whisky, and Japanese food. The location was convenient too, close to Ochanomizu and Shin-Ochanomizu stations.

Breakfast was a highlight for me. The buffet has a traditional Japanese selection, including raw and grilled fish, mental, udon, curry, miso soup, wasabi mochi, and more. The cake roll was so soft! It’s a peaceful place, and the hotel supplies Pola brand soap and shampoo, which is a big plus. Science Tokyo Yushima campus is right next door, Ochanomizu station is about a 7 minute walk away, and Akihabara is around 15 minutes on foot.

There’s a really lovely view from the room, and we could sit by the window and enjoy it. The room is very large, with bright bathroom lighting, and compared with similar hotels the bathroom is especially spacious. We could open two medium suitcases and two small ones.
