Act Hotel Roppongi - Vacation STAY 42410v

The room was small, but it worked for us as a couple with a 1 year old and a stroller. We had to make do, since the bigger rooms were sold out. There wasn't much to complain about, and they were generous with towels. We returned most of ours since using so many wasn't eco friendly. The hotel is beautifully designed, right across from Roppongi Hills and close to all the fancy places. They even have FREE SOFT SERVE ice cream! It was fully booked, so we were lucky to get 10 nights. Hopefully we can stay again.

A clean hotel in a nice location, and the shower was great. The room was small, and while there was free ice cream, the stay didn't go above and beyond. It was fine, the price was good, and I'd stay again.

The staff are lovely, and the location is handy for the subway, museums, and galleries. But the rooms are extremely small, the smallest hotel room I've had in a few years of travelling in Japan. There's no soundproofing, and over the weekend we got very little sleep from people in the hallway and partygoers outside. Our bed was old, uncomfortable, and sunken, and the pillows were very flat. When we asked for two extra pillows, the staff weren't sure they had any. They later found us one. I wouldn't recommend it for couples, since there are lots of better options. Maybe it suits a solo traveller who's out all day and night.

The rooms are small, as others have said, but that's common with Tokyo hotels and you'll probably spend most of your time out enjoying the city. The location is great, the amenities are good, and there's free ice cream. At a fair price, that's a hard combination to find. I'd absolutely recommend the hotel.
