The host was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. They even picked us up from the airport late at night and made us a few different breakfasts. When it was time to move on, they helped get our luggage to the next place, too. The accommodation was practical. It looked small at first, but it was easy enough to live in. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and other useful things.

The neighborhood stays quiet, and the place is spotless and modern. I liked hanging out in the shared area, especially the bean bags, and the decorations are really well done. There are several photo books showing everyday life in Tokyo, too. It’s very close to the sky tree, and I’d recommend it if you’re traveling in Tokyo on your own.

The hostel was impressively clean, had a lovely view of the Skytree, and felt calm, probably because there aren’t many beds. My one gripe is that the rooms have pretty much no soundproofing, though that’s maybe to be expected in a hostel. Getting through Oshiage station can be a hassle with all the people boarding and leaving trains. Even so, I’d choose this place over somewhere nearer the center with a much lower standard.

The staff were warm and helpful, and the price is very low for a capsule hotel so centrally located by the skytree. If sleeping in a capsule works for you, this is a really good choice.
