Even though the area isn't very urban, KAMATA Station is close by, so reaching Tokyo's main cities isn't an issue. The hotel has everything I needed, including a bathtub, bath, free WiFi, and yukata. The instructions and guidance are in English, so there's no need to worry about translation. My room was listed for one person, but it was still quite sufficient for two. The service was high quality, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed here in December 2024 and would come back if I needed to travel between Yokohama, areas west of there, and central Tokyo. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating about my possible parking request, even though my Japanese is very questionable. The station is walkable, even with luggage, and the noise level was acceptable. There are several restaurants close by, including a basic one right across the street. As usual for APA in Tokyo, the rooms can be very small, so you'd better really like your travel partner. Still, the prices and deals made the space worthwhile. Looking at the rates, I'm tempted to move here for a few months, lol.

I stay here regularly because the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything I need. It's well located for trains in every direction, including to the airport, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Kamata and Keikyu-Kamata are both convenient stations to use. Kamata is the busier one. The hotel is close to Haneda airport and Shinagawa station, and the surrounding area has plenty of shops, convenience stores, and places to eat, with more entertainment around Kamata. The hotel was clean, and the staff were polite, efficient, and attentive. They communicated well enough, using a translation app for more complicated requests and questions. Thanks to the front desk, especially one of the women at reception, for helping with all my requests, including luggage transfer. The restaurant staff were attentive, too. Our room could get a little dusty, so a more thorough cleaning of the vents would be welcome, though it wasn't a deal breaker. Breakfast was fantastic and filling, but the choices were limited and got tiring over multiple nights. Some variety would help. As the kids say, the APA Curry Cutlet pork is "bussin." Thanks for having us. If I stay in the Kamata area again, I'd pick this APA hotel.

The service itself was fine, but I wouldn't recommend staying here at any price. I booked it for the airport, about 10 minutes away by metro. After traveling most of the day, we arrived exhausted around midnight and just wanted bed. The room smelled musty, and on closer inspection it was disgusting: cleaning was extremely poor or absent, the furniture was damaged, and it looked as if someone might have used the room only hours before we got there. If it hadn't been so late and we weren't so tired, I would have gone somewhere else. Breakfast was sad, so don't add it. My experience seems to fit with reviews of other APA hotels, which makes this hotel's high rating hard to understand.
