The free breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the Hibiya line makes getting around fairly easy. For the price, I'd call it a good value choice, though I wouldn't choose it for a leisure trip. The room was smaller than I expected, and the building is old but well maintained. The bathrooms seem to have been redone fairly recently. The air conditioning struggled to hold a steady temperature, which made sleeping tough, and the bed was on the soft side.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the small bathroom did its job. But the beds were really uncomfortable, like lying on boards, and the rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes. I wouldn't suggest staying longer than one or two nights.
The rooms are what you'd expect for the price, and staying in the Ginza area here is an easy choice. I had no trouble checking in late, at 10PM (2200) or later. The staff were very accommodating when we checked out early in the morning. We asked to leave our luggage since we couldn't carry it around all day, and they were very helpful about storing it. We were able to pick it up even after 6PM (1800).
Very clean and good for the price. It's close to restaurants and a market, and they'll clean your room every day if you want.
There's a very cute dog at reception, and the owner lets you pet it. Passing by always gives me a happy boost. The hotel is in a rather old building, but the room we stayed in was decent and clean. I was pleasantly surprised.
