I booked this hotel for an event nearby because I wanted to stay as close to the venue as possible. The breakfast was a standard buffet, and I enjoyed it. The room wasn’t dirty, though it wasn’t exactly clean either. The bathroom fixtures were old, and the water pressure and stop-and-go flow were poor. There also weren’t enough outlets for two people. None were by the bed, just one in front of the bathroom door, so charging phones wasn’t convenient. I’d bring a portable charger. The lobby had a strong artificial air freshener smell, which could bother anyone sensitive to that. There was a faint smell lingering in the room too, and it wasn’t pleasant. The building looked older in person than it did in the official website photos. I think photos posted by other guests give a more realistic idea of what it looks like. After checking out, I realized I’d left something behind and called to ask about it. Nobody picked up during about a minute of ringing, and I had to call three times before getting through. The response after that felt very businesslike and impersonal. I know leaving it was my fault, but I would have preferred a more pleasant response, as you’d expect in the service industry. It also seems that even small items are sent back through Yamato Transport with the recipient paying shipping, which can get expensive. Be careful not to leave anything behind.
