Courtyard by Marriott Tokyo Ginza Hotel

The buffet breakfast was a highlight, with Japanese and Continental dishes to choose from. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous, and the room was plush, quiet, and comfortable. For almost no road noise, ask for a room facing away from the street. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Tokyo and only two streets from Ginza's main shopping and dining thoroughfare. A classy, well-located hotel for business or leisure. Highly recommend it.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet, with no train noise. It’s a straightforward room rather than anything fancy. There are amenities on site that looked nice, though I didn’t use them. The shower was the real drawback: it was almost impossible to use without splashing water all over the bathroom floor. Ginza is a convenient location.

The breakfast buffet suited me well, with both authentic Japanese dishes and Western options. After long days out exploring, I really appreciated the strong shower pressure. We had plenty of room for two, especially by Japanese hotel standards. As a Titanium Elite member, I was recognized right away at check-in and received all my benefits. Great hotel, and the location is even better. I’ll definitely stay again.

What stood out most was how helpful the staff were, even after we’d checked out. My son left his favorite soft toy behind, and we only noticed once we were back in our home country. I described it to the hotel, and the next day they said they’d found it and could hand it to a friend or ship it within Japan. A friend was staying at another Tokyo hotel, so the staff arranged delivery right to their door for a small fee. My son got his toy back, which meant a lot to him. They also kept our luggage for a few days while we visited other cities in Japan, before we returned to check in for our final night ahead of the flight home. We stayed with our family, including our 6yo, and barely needed transport because the location is so handy for shopping and dining. The rooms and beds are small, though, and a king-size bed may be tight for two adults and a child to share.
