MINI HOUSE Tokyo South

The nearest station is small, so we often needed to change trains several times to get where we wanted to go in Tokyo. Still, the room was clean, had some cookware, and was mostly quiet even though it’s very close to the station, with only a little noise at times.

After a long flight, the clean studio felt welcoming. It had a decent amount of space, a washer, and an open kitchenette with a small fridge and freezer. Check-in and email communication were easy too, and staff replied quickly and helped with my questions, which made the stay stress-free. I was there for five days at Mini House Tokyo South. It's a little far from the city, but Omorimachi station is less than a minute away on foot, so getting around was simple. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores are nearby, including some open 24 hours for late-night cravings.

The neighbourhood was a highlight, with canals nearby for a nice walk, plus bakeries, shops, supermarkets, and restaurants just a few minutes away. The train station was also a short walk. Check-in was easy, and communication with staff was good. We stayed seven nights with my husband and teenager. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, and having a small kitchen and washing machine was a big plus. We’d stay again.

We really enjoyed making this our first stop on our first Japan trip. The location is great, right by Omorimachi station, with several conbinis close by. The room was a good size for three, and we especially liked the bath and shower together and the toilet. On arrival, we could secure our luggage at the entrance with bike lock chains, which made the first day much easier since we were a few hours early. Check-in itself was easy: a quick call, show your face and passport, then you get the room number and code. A few things could be better. The room can’t be fully darkened, there was some street noise at night, and even after we asked, we didn’t get a third blanket. There’s no on-site service or staff to help with that.
