Ebisuholic Hotel

We'd gladly use Ebisuholic Hotel as our Tokyo base again. The room was very clean, and the light breakfast included with the stay was a nice extra. Ebisu Station makes subway transfers easy, and the hotel is near big areas like Shibuya while set apart from the crowds and bright city bustle. The quieter, more local neighborhood was welcome after long sightseeing days. There are a grocery store and several convenience stores just around the corner for snacks or quick meals.

The quieter setting worked well for us, and the station is under ten minutes away, just one stop from Shibuya. There are lots of nearby local restaurants, including some well-known popular spots, plus boutique shops within walking distance. They also made it easy to transfer our luggage to our next stop in Kyoto. My daughter and I stayed here this week on our Japan trip. The rooms were nice and had all the amenities. Everyone on staff was helpful, especially Sartani and A. The included breakfast wasn't elaborate, but there was plenty and it was delicious. Fresh coffee, juice, and a snack were available around the clock. Highly recommend the hotel and location.

The included breakfast turned out to be pretty good, which I hadn't expected. Our room was spotless, with a great bathroom, robes, and slippers. Staff were helpful, and let us leave our bags there on our last day before heading to the flight. It's about a five-minute walk to Ebisu station, one stop from Shibuya. I liked being on the quieter side of town, a nice place to unwind after a long day in Tokyo. The lobby had handy extras like face masks, hair oils and wax, tea bags, and more. There was an espresso machine for coffee on the go, and guest umbrellas came in handy during rainy season.

The rooms are small but really cute, and the heated toilet seat and bidet were great. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast, so make sure to choose that when booking. Coffee, tea, and hot water are available all day, and guests can borrow PJs and robes for the room. Ebisu train station is close, and check-in was easy with a welcoming staff. The free station of guest necessities was such a nice touch: combs, razors, nasal strips, bath salts, cuticle oil, face mask cream, and plenty more. A lovely place close to so much of Japan.
