FL Hotel Asakusa

Quiet area, great value, and the bathroom was especially good. The modern room is tiny, but clean, and they fit in every convenience. There's even a window that opens a few inches. Highly recommend.

We booked three months ahead, then just a few days before check-in they sent a cancellation request and said the hotel was supposedly bankrupt. We were left scrambling for somewhere to stay at the last minute, when alternatives were hard to find and prices were nearly twice as high. Treating guests this way shows no responsibility or respect for people who plan ahead. We were extremely disappointed and don't recommend the hotel. There's a real risk of being left without accommodation at the worst time.

The only good part was the peaceful neighborhood. We felt misled because the room for two seemed designed for one person. The bed was ridiculously small, even by Japanese standards, and sitting on the toilet meant my knees hit the bathroom door.

It wasn't a terrible place, but I felt pretty claustrophobic. The nearest subway station is about a 12-minute walk away. Prisoners probably have more space, lmao. I'd only come back if I wanted to punish myself.
