Gate Stay Premium Asakusa Riverside

The hotel’s 24-hour reception gave me peace of mind, and the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout. I spent 5 nights at Hotel Tomos Asakusa, a boutique-size place with only 11 rooms, so it felt quiet, personal, and well cared for. The modern design is thoughtful, with little details that make a real difference to comfort. It has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. I’d definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it if you want a well-designed boutique hotel in Asakusa.

The staff helped with our questions and suggested places to try. Their Google list for restaurants was delicious, and they offer a good range of housekeeping accommodations. We were here with my husband and sister from December 7th-12th, and I can’t stop talking about how amazing the hotel was. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the location was great: Asakusa Station, Sensoji Temple, and the Tokyo Skytree were each around a 20-minute walk away. On our last night we visited the community floor on the 10th floor, which had an amazing view. I’d book here again when we plan another Tokyo stop.

The views from the top were incredible, and our room was cozy and peaceful. Staff went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, and it really showed. The location is relaxing and cozy, away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to walk to the fun and excitement of Asakusa, with transportation nearby too. There are lots of good restaurants around, including Asahiyama Soba and Tencha (tempura). It made for a memorable stay. I highly recommend it in Tokyo, and thank you so much for an awesome visit! :)

We stayed at Hotel Tomos Asakusa twice on our trip, which says a lot. The place is spotless and thoughtfully set up, with little things like complimentary water, coffee, toiletries, and more. Staff were genuinely exceptional, warm, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. It’s right in central Asakusa, about a 10 minute walk to the metro, with a bus stop outside and a 7-Eleven across the street. Everything felt easy and welcoming. We’d absolutely stay again!
