Ginza Capital Hotel Main

The staff were friendly and the cleaning was very good, though the hotel itself isn’t very new. The rooms are small, like in most hotels here. Its location is excellent, close to train stations and central Ginza. There’s no central heating in the room, so I had to keep turning the air conditioner on and off.

The lobby felt spacious and welcoming, and the rooms were a decent size. Service was excellent, too. I especially liked how easy the location made getting around: it’s a short walk from Tsukiji Station, with signs in the station pointing you toward the hotel. Ginza, the Sumida River, and even Tokyo Station are all reachable on foot. Getting to the airport was the best part for us. Higashi-ginza Station is within walking distance, and there’s an affordable direct train to Haneda Airport. If you want a peaceful neighborhood with tourist spots close by and an easy airport trip, this is a good place to stay.

After several nights here, I was left disappointed. The staff’s expressions and manner felt unfriendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. At times it seemed like I was the staff and they were the customers. They even tried to lecture guests. I definitely won’t be back.

This suited what I needed: somewhere reasonably priced to sleep, at $80 including tax. It had sleepwear and slippers, and the location was good, with a convenience store next door. The room isn’t spacious, so this may not be the place for you if you want lots of space.
