Holy House

After getting lucky with a reservation a year ahead, we finally made it. My three-year-old and six-year-old had a great time with all the fun things to do, including the ninja house and treasure hunt. As an adult, the popcorn maker was my favorite.

We had a relaxing visit with five adults and four children at the beginning of the year. After the long holiday of looking after the kids, the parents were worn out, but here the children could play by themselves and keep busy, even though they were so excited they didn’t want to sleep. The interactive features entertained them, while the thoughtful touches and gifts made it fun for the adults too. Everything we normally needed was there, and with a supermarket nearby, we could’ve come empty-handed. The location was a little inconvenient, but there was plenty of parking close by, so it wasn’t a big problem.

The kids had a great time with all the activities, from treasure hunts to shaved ice and somen noodles. I couldn’t tell whether the bird doll at the entrance had a light or vibration sensor, but something set it off and made it chirp. Hearing it downstairs when nobody was there felt spooky, so I turned it off.

We had to wait a year to get a weekend booking, but I think it was worth it. My child raced all over the room, up and down until he ran out of steam and fell asleep. I’d entered the wrong PIN because I hadn’t checked my email carefully, but I got in touch quickly and they let my child in without much waiting. We searched every corner for the hidden treasure chest, and the place was so clean that I felt at ease. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the plastic dishes for little kids, since mine were too excited to eat quietly. There’s a supermarket nearby for small shopping needs. At night, when things were quiet, we could feel vibrations from cars passing on the road. The floor in the second-floor bedroom creaked too, and even rolling over in bed could be heard on the first floor.
