Hotel Brilio Asakusabashi

The staff are amazing and the service is top-notch. The location is really nice, close to asakusabashi station and next to a lovely shrine. There’s a coffee shop downstairs, so sometimes the coffee smell is strong.

It had the calm feel we were hoping for, in a quieter neighborhood with mostly business people and schoolchildren around. We didn’t see many other tourists. There are a couple of train stations just a few minutes away on foot, so getting around was easy, and the area has plenty of restaurants. Our family of four, including our boys aged 10 and 8, had a great sized room. It was super clean and functional, and we had everything we needed despite not interacting much with staff. Loved the hotel and would definitely go back.

We all left satisfied and would stay here again. The room had plenty of space to open a suitcase, and the samue-style loungewear was cute. Cleaning and fresh bath towels can be requested by scanning a QR code. There were coffee packs in the room, plus cleansing lotion, lotion, and moisturizer by the bathroom sink, so I didn't need to buy those at a convenience store. The service sits somewhere between a private rental and a full-service hotel, but it was enough for us. Toothbrushes, combs, cotton swabs, and razors are available downstairs, so you can take only what you need. The free water dispenser is on the first floor, along with a microwave and chopsticks. Tea bags were provided too. It's about a 10-minute walk from Asakusabashi. There are lots of bars under the elevated tracks, plus chain stores, independent shops, and convenience stores along both sides of the road to the hotel, so finding food wasn't a problem. Asakusa is just two subway stops away, and buses are handy too, including ones to Yaesu. The first-floor cafe closes at 5 PM, but if you can make it, try the cafe latte and pudding. They were delicious.
