Hotel chen's house - Vacation STAY 42508v

The room is small, which seems normal for Japan, but if you're two meters tall, getting around could be uncomfortable. The atmosphere was warm and laid-back. Tokyo Sky tree is ten minutes away, there's an onsen just one or two minutes away, and a washing machine outside nearby. Restaurants are close too. I'd recommend it.

It's quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced, with Oshiage station just a short walk away. Our room could fit a family, and downstairs there's a quiet spot for making tea. In the living area, you can put on a nice range of jazz, blues, rock, and other records. It's a tiny house, but a handy place to plan day trips and explore Tokyo.

The host was so welcoming and kind. The hostel was cozy and super clean, and I'd definitely stay here again. Best hostel in Tokyo!

I come back to this hotel whenever I travel alone around Tokyo. Being able to return late or leave early after checking in, with no curfew, is really convenient. There's no bath in the hotel, but you can buy tickets for a nearby public bathhouse that stays open until 2 AM. On the first floor, the lounge has a community notebook with entries from all 47 prefectures. I was happy to find notes from people who seemed to be from my region.
