Hotel Gajoen Tokyo

We loved how peaceful the location was, away from the crowds, while still being an easy trip to the subway and trains and around town. Breakfast was amazing, so don't skip it. The hotel has a lovely aroma throughout, and the bathrobes and pyjamas were a nice extra. Our room was comfortable and really spacious, with plenty of closet room for our family of four. The washroom was gorgeous and stocked with excellent toiletries, including face cleanser, toner, lotion and face masks. The whole hotel is beautiful, and every detail seemed thought through.

I visited for the museum exhibition. It was interesting, just not as interesting as people make it sound. If you're nearby, it's a nice little stop, but I wouldn't make a special trip to see it again.

The room service was AMAZING, and there are some great ramen shops just down the road. The restaurants can be tough to get into without a reservation. We really enjoyed treating ourselves to this hotel and would stay again. Our room was huge, with good natural light, though the view wasn't much, and we enjoyed having a sauna. Staff were very attentive and helpful, and taxis were easy to find. The train stations were a bit hard to reach on foot, but there was a shuttle to take you back and forth.

The lounge was a favorite, especially at happy hour, when the food and drinks were amazing. Our family had loads of space in the room, and the private steam room and jacuzzi in each room were a special bonus. Everything in Hotel GAJOEN Tokyo is designed in a beautiful Japanese style, with a calm, elegant feel. Service and atmosphere made the whole stay unforgettable. It's the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed in, and we can't wait to return.
