Breakfast was fairly good, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathroom had a musty smell that gave me a sore throat after a few days. There are lots of groups here, both old and young, and the elevator couldn’t keep up with the traffic. For some strange reason, the doors are only for emergencies, even though opening the stairs would ease the congestion. The entrance is very small, and smoke from people smoking outside drifts in.
This was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my time in Japan, though it’s a bit far from the city center.
The location made getting around convenient. It’s near a metro station, and a bus loop just a couple minutes away has a bus straight to Disneyland and DisneySea. There’s also a Narita airport limousine bus that drops off at the nearby metro station. I liked the free soft drinks available all day. My single room was small, but fair for the price, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast had a good range of healthy choices, mostly Asian. The eating area got quite crowded when everyone from a tour group came down at once, so a larger space would have been nice.
The room was comfortable enough, but when I turned on the air, there was a distinct moldy urine smell. I wouldn’t stay here again.
I’ve stayed here twice, and the carpet in each room has been very clean. One reason is that Hotel Il Fiore Kasai lets guests bring food and drinks into the hotel canteen area. I hate when business hotels in Japan make you eat in a tiny room instead, where food smells linger and the carpet can get stained. Most people would rather eat somewhere else if they have the choice. Here there are places to eat, and travelers can chat with each other in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Buses around the hotel also make getting around easy. Super guest friendly!!
